Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), established in 2010 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is India's first skill-based private university. Formerly known as AISECT University, RNTU is recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and is approved by various statutory bodies including AICTE, NCTE, BCI, INC, and the Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council. The university is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).
RNTU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs across various disciplines, including Engineering & Technology, Medical Sciences, Agriculture, Management, Humanities & Liberal Arts, and more.
RNTU has been recognized for its excellence in education and infrastructure. In 2020, the university was honored with the CG Education Excellence Award by ZEE MP for its outstanding infrastructure in agriculture and engineering. Additionally, RNTU secured the top rank as the best private multidisciplinary university in Madhya Pradesh in 2022.
RNTU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is also approved by AICTE, NCTE, BCI, INC, and the Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council.
